What is it?

A two-day crash course diving into the realities of NBA Summer League and how it serves as a stepping stone for careers in basketball. Attendees will hear from industry professionals—including NBA, G League, and NCAA personnel—about the critical role Summer League plays in hiring across scouting, coaching, performance, analytics, medical, media, and agency roles.

What You'll Learn:

• How Summer League creates career opportunities in basketball
• The different roles that exist and how hiring works in the NBA/G League
• Insights from past and present team executives, scouts, coaches, and agents
• How teams evaluate players and staff during Summer League
• What media and front office personnel look for during this period

Course Structure:

• Two 120-minute Zoom sessions led by John Ross & NBA Champion Daniel Marks, featuring guest speakers with first-hand NBA, G League, and NCAA experience
• Live Q&A sessions with experts from across basketball operations
• Interactive participation with your cohort
• All sessions recorded for later rewatch
